Using FFF

By using FFF, you agree to use the website lawfully and not to interfere with its operation, attempt to bypass its security, scrape or reproduce its content beyond what the law permits, or use the service for fraud or abuse.

FFF is a discovery service

FFF helps you find and understand clothing information. We are not the seller of the products listed on the site.

When you click through to a brand, you leave FFF and interact with that brand under the brand’s own terms and policies.

The brand is responsible for the product, its composition and quality, any claims it makes about the product, price, stock, delivery, returns, guarantees, customer service, the purchase contract, and any other issue arising from the sale or supply of the product.

Product and brand information

FFF aims to make product and brand information easier to understand. Some information is stated by a brand and some is supported by third-party certification. Where relevant, FFF identifies the evidence available.

A brand statement is not the same as an independent certification or test.

FFF does not independently laboratory-test every product listed on the site.

We cannot guarantee that all information will always be complete, accurate or current.

Product composition, certifications, availability, prices and brand policies can change. Before buying, check the brand’s current product information.

Natural fibres, non-toxic products and health-related information

A natural fibre is not automatically hypoallergenic, non-toxic, chemical-free or suitable for sensitive skin. A synthetic fibre is not automatically unsafe.

FFF does not infer health or safety characteristics from fibre composition alone.

Products may appear in a category or collection relating to non-toxic materials, chemicals, sensitive skin or similar topics where they meet the relevant published FFF criteria based on the information available to FFF.

Inclusion in such a category or collection does not mean that FFF guarantees that a product is free from all chemicals, allergens or irritants, or that it cannot cause an adverse reaction.

Allergies and adverse reactions

Information about chemicals, materials, certifications, skin sensitivity, allergies and other health or safety characteristics may come from the brand, manufacturer or a third-party certification body.

FFF does not manufacture, test or independently verify every product listed on the site.

People can react differently to the same material or product. If you have an allergy, medical condition, known sensitivity or other health concern, check the manufacturer’s current product information before buying or wearing the product. If appropriate, seek professional medical advice.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, FFF is not responsible for allergic reactions, skin irritation or other adverse reactions arising from a product listed on FFF, except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

FFF ratings

FFF ratings are methodology-based assessments of information covered by the relevant FFF methodology. They are not guarantees of an individual garment’s quality, durability, performance, safety or suitability.

A brand rating does not replace checking the information for the specific product you are considering.

Affiliate disclosure

FFF may earn a commission when you buy through an affiliate link, at no extra cost to you.

Affiliate commissions do not determine or change a brand’s FFF rating.

Partner disclosure

Brands may pay FFF for Partner placement and other benefits described in the relevant Partner terms.

Partner payments do not buy a rating, a score adjustment or removal of information from FFF. Commercial payments are not an input into the rating.

Third-party websites

FFF links to websites operated by third parties. We do not control those websites or their content, policies, prices, availability or security. Their own terms and privacy policies apply once you leave FFF.

Intellectual property

You may use FFF for personal, non-commercial discovery and research. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, scrape or commercially reuse FFF’s original content, methodology, software or database except where permitted by law or with our permission.

Product names, images, trademarks and other brand materials belong to their respective owners.

Availability and liability

We aim to keep FFF available and useful, but the service may occasionally be unavailable, incomplete or affected by technical problems.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited. This includes liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that applicable law does not permit us to exclude or limit.

Subject to the above, FFF is not responsible for losses arising from a purchase or product supplied by a third-party brand, including product defects, inaccurate or misleading claims made by the brand, delivery issues, returns, disputes with the brand, allergic reactions, skin irritation or other adverse reactions.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, except where mandatory consumer law gives you rights that cannot be excluded by contract. The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory rights you may have as a consumer.
